Sure Seal Seal® EFF-Plus Remover is an advance in the chemistry of removing efflorescence, grout haze, cement, rust stains and other contaminants form bricks, stone, tiles, concrete mixing equipment, newly laid floor tiles and a variety of other surfaces.
Sure Seal Seal® EFF-Plus Remover is based on Acid Replacement (AR) Technology and although low in PH does not contain traditional acids. It is a unique, safe to use cleaner based on organic compounds. Using new advance “green” technology, it gives the action of a tough acid cleaner but without the fuming, chemical burns and corrosion.

Description: Sure Seal® EFF-Plus Remover is a safe alternative to traditional acidic cleaners. It removes efflorescence, grout haze, cement residues, rust and water scales from masonry surfaces. It is a safer method of cleaning cement & concrete than with Hydrochloric or Sulphuric acid based products, but has the dissolving power of Hydrochloric or Phosphoric acid without the hazardous fumes and potential burns and is totally water soluble.
Dilution Rates: For the removal of Efflorescence & Cement residues – Use as is or dilute between 1:4 parts and 1:50 parts water depending on the substrate to be cleaned and thickness of cement to be removed. Apply with a stiff bristled brush or broom and allow to react for a few minutes. Rinse off with fresh water.
Note: DO NOT use on polished or finely honed stone such as marble or limestone or other acid sensitive surfaces.
Clean Up: Neutralize any remaining residues with mildly alkaline liquid. Clean up equipment with water.
Spills & Leaks: Spills can be absorbed onto inert material and disposed of to an approved landfill.
Coverage: Depends upon the dilution rate applied, the porosity of the surface to be treated and method of application.
First Aid:
Eye Contact: If in eyes, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.
Inhalation: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If symptoms persist, call physician.
Skin: Prevent prolonged contact with skin. Wash area with soap and water.
Ingestion: If swallowed DO NOT induce vomiting. Wash out mouth with water and give plenty of water to drink. Seek medical attention. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Inhaled: No first aid measures normally required. If vapours or mists inhaled and irritation develops, remove to fresh air and observe until recovered. If irritation becomes painful or persists more than about 30 minutes, seek medical advice.
Protective Clothing: Wear appropriate chemical resistant protective clothing to prevent skin contact. The use of a dust or vapour mask is suggested when airborne exposure is likely, especially if in confined or dusty spaces. Consult AS/NZS 1715 in selecting suitable equipment.
Handling & Storage: Keep sealed in original containers and store in a cool dry place. Maintain a high level of personal hygiene when using this product. Wash your hands before eating, drinking, smoking or using the toilet.
Shelf Life: At least 12 months in closed original container, stored in cool, dry conditions.
Shipping Information: This product has no UN classification. Not a Scheduled Poison. Not classified as a Dangerous Good, according to the Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail (6th Edition).
