How do you clean kitchen tiles?
To clean your kitchen tiles, we recommend using mild detergent and warm water. For tougher stains, you may need to use a stronger cleaning solution, such as Aqua-Seal Oxitreat HD Heavy Duty Acid Cleaner and Sure Seal (Sure Clean) Porcelain Cleaner. How do you remove tiles from a kitchen?
Taking tile off tiles from a kitchen is simple, but it’s critical to do it carefully so that you don’t damage the surrounding area. Plus, you’ll need the right tools for the job. We recommend using a grout rake, a chisel, and a hammer to remove the tile.
Once you have the recommended tools, follow these steps:
Score the grout around the tile with a grout rake.
Insert a chisel under the tile and tap it with a hammer to loosen the tile.
Repeat Step 2 until the tile is loose enough to remove by hand.
After all the tiles are removed, use the chisel and hammer once more to scrape off any residual glue or grout.
Lastly, clean the area thoroughly before adding new tiles.
